You’re probably familiar with the story of the house that was half a million years old, but did you know it was made of bricks?
And, as a final bit of trivia, did you ever wonder what that brick-shaped object looked like?
If you’re wondering why you would go to such lengths to find out, you’re in luck.
The mystery of the brick house dates back to the mid-18th century.
But what is the story behind that mysterious brick house?
It’s said that one night, while exploring the neighbourhood, a man discovered a brick house.
It was made up of bricks and stones, with a roof that was made from two stone pillars.
A few years later, in 1854, it was sold to a farmer for £2.50.
In 1868, the house was taken down and replaced with a new one, which was also made from the same stones.
What do you think?
Did you ever want to visit the home, or are you glad you did?
